Memimgkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Cerita Narasi Menggunakan Media Gambar Berseri Pada Siswa Kelas IV A Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita narasi melalui penggunaan media gambar berseri pada siswa kelas IV A SDN 11 Dangerakko Palopo. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis cerita narasi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa, terdiri atas 11 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes, dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi dan tes kemampuan menulis cerita narasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis cerita narasi siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I, sebanyak 16 siswa (64%) mencapai ketuntasan dengan nilai rata-rata 67,6, sedangkan 9 siswa (36%) belum tuntas. Pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 21 siswa (84%) dengan nilai rata-rata 78,2, sedangkan 4 siswa (16%) belum tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar berseri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita narasi siswa kelas IV A SDN 11 Dangerakko Palopo.
