Pergeseran Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia Pada Saat Proses Pembelajaran di Kalangan Mahasiswa : Analisis Bahasa Prokem
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk apakah ada pergeseran penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia pad saat pembelajaran di kalangan mahasiswa dan seperti apa bentuk-bentuk pergeseran penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia tersebut di kalangan mahasiswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif kualitatif, dengan menyajikan data dalam bentuk kata maupun kalimat yang diperoleh di lapangan secara objektif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari komentar-komentar mahasiswa semester VI A, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo, selama proses perkuliahan berlangsung, baik secara online maupun secara offline.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahawa fungsi bahasa sebagai alat berekspresi semakin nyata, yaitu kecenderungan melahirkan istilah atau gaya bahasa baru yang terkadang sudah tidak sesuai lagi dengan budaya. Penggunaan bahasa prokem dalam komunikasi sehari-hari baik dalam bidang formal dan nonformal, semakin sulit dihindari. Saat ini penutur bahasa (mahasiswa) sebagai pelaku dunia pendidikan khususnya Program Studi Bahasa Indonesia yang setiap hari mempelajari konsep Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar, tetapi faktanya teori-teori dalam pembelajaran tidak dapat diterapkan dengan baik. Terlebih ketika berkomunikasi dengan dosen, dalam situasi formal, walaupun melalui pesan singkat (whatsapp). Hal ini nantinya akan menjadi dampak buruk bagi perkembangan dan eksistensi Bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa Nasional.
