Pemetaan Kebutuhan Siswa sebagai Dasar Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif untuk IPAS Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
This study aims to analyze students’ needs as a basis for developing interactive learning multimedia for Science and Social Studies (IPAS) in elementary schools. The study constitutes the Analysis stage of a research and development project using the ADDIE model. Data were collected from 30 sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Teluk Kemang during the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. A ten-item Likert-scale questionnaire was used to examine three aspects: students’ experience and interest in IPAS learning, experience with learning media, and visual needs for multimedia. Data were analyzed descriptively using frequencies and percentages and presented in tables and pie charts. The findings show that students have a strong need for more varied and interactive learning media. A total of 76.67% of students strongly agreed that learning media help them understand IPAS, while 63.33% strongly agreed that learning videos are helpful. Visual characteristics were particularly important: 76.67% strongly agreed that colorful images increased their interest, and 90.00% strongly agreed that attractive images and colors increased their learning enthusiasm. Students also expected readable text and appropriate font size and type. The findings indicate that the multimedia to be developed should integrate text, images, animation, video, and interactive activities within a clear and visually attractive interface. The results provide an empirical basis for determining the initial product specifications at the Design stage of ADDIE.
